With all the travel options and popular tourist destinations in the world, this is a valid question. Why not Iceland or South American? Our answer is simple – Israel is where the bulk of the Bible takes place! For those who read the Bible, study its contents, and put their hope and faith in its message, there is hardly a more compelling argument than seeing the geography and the historical remains for yourself.

Here are two reasons to whet your appetite. First, a biblical tour of Israel will give you new insight and fresh appreciation for many of the stories that you are already familiar with. Seeing how close or how far things are, or feeling the heat, or trekking through the rugged terrain, will allow you to see in a new light the Bible’s varied and colorful illustrations. Second, a biblical tour will allow you to connect the dots with cultural aspects and geographical notations that are strange to foreigners. It’s in Israel that the Bible comes to life, as some have said from black and white to color.

Many Christians will unfortunately not visit this land because it’s understandably expensive and time consuming. Life is busy, and it’s difficult to make things like this a priority! However, many people could make this a possibility if they were aware of the rewards, and inspired to make the effort.

Visiting Israel is about connecting dots that are hard to connect otherwise. It’s about looking at real history, in real places. Many people visit Israel for non-biblical reasons as well (beautiful places and interesting ruins) but we want to encourage you to visit Israel because you want to know your Bible better and be challenged in your faith. We are here to make Jesus known in the land of His ministry.
